It's not in its early stage. It's about near its pinnacle. They've threaded the needle as far as they could when it came to squeezing out as much industrial capacity as they could while manipulating the Yuan to maintain as much domestic purchasing power as possible. That's why they have plateaued (via policy) in aerospace and military shipbuilding.
There is only one X factor left and that's if they can close the gap in chip design and semiconductor manufacturing. I don't think they will ever catch up to America in space capacity.

China in 2015 was a nobody.
It had fancy skyscrapers and a giant GDP growth number from spamming infrastructure.
But it wasn't leading in anything, so it didn't feel like a threat.
Now, in 2025, China has cutting edge video games, cars, robots, A.I., apps, missiles..
Tiktok's algorithm is literally unbeatable, so the US had no choice but to raid it, in order to protect their domestic tech giants.
They had no choice but to de facto ban China cars to protect their car industry.
China DOES feel threatening now, but Westerners are still coping by referring to "middle-income trap", and "population decline"
But don't let the reduced GDP growth fool you: Yes, they don't inflate numbers with low-value spam anymore- but QUALITATIVELY, China's growth is still relatively in its early stage.
The dragon has actually still been half-asleep thus far.
In 2035, China will be a whole other beast.

but......The CCP’s official term is “Vocational Education and Training Centers” (职业技能教育培训中心). They claim these are voluntary facilities that provide job training, Mandarin lessons, and “deradicalization” for people at risk of extremism. It seems like those "training centers" are top secrets

After he released his footage, Chinese state security began systematically questioning his family members back home as collective punishment.
That is not hearsay. That is a man who risked everything to show the world what the CCP has spent billions trying to hide — satellite image manipulation, journalist expulsions, diplomatic pressure, and collective punishment against anyone who speaks out.
The camps do not exist, according to Beijing. So why does an entire government work this hard to silence one man with a camera?

Let's talk about how Shenzhen, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Zhejiang suppliers use Chinese forced labor:
My husband, a Chinese human rights advocate, NGO founder, became a slavery labor in Chishan prison, Hunan province. 2000+ prisoners, are forced to work 10-12 hrs everyday, get cents per day, my husband no pay as he is a political prisoner.
Milwaukee tool has a supplier in Shanghai called shanghai select who placed order to prison. Prisoners made Milwaukee Tool gloves everyday, which generate dozens million RMB for Chishan prison. Semi products and finished products sent back to Shanghai Select and export to US, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Australia and other countries.
The Dude Shoes, a brand belongs to Crocs, produced shoe upper and shoe side panel in Chishan prison, then sent back to their Guangzhou supplier to assemble before export.
Actually a lot of western brands, placed order to suppliers based in Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Zhejiang, having their semin-finshed products manufactured by Chinese prison labor.
In China, there are 2.7 million to 3.5 million prison labor. If we add Uyghurs who are arbitrarily detained in concentration camps or sent to factory as slavery labor. How many products selling in Canada are made by Chinese prison labor every year?
That's what I am fighting for! And United States blocked a supplier who use Chinese prisoners as slavery labor!
