@RepublicanMLM @politicallyred We advocate *mass* mobilisation, but arent ridiculous. After the Dublin riot, we couldnt mobilise masses against the far right. But IPSC could have, and instead canceled a mass Palestine protest in the name of 'peace' and 'calm'. That was the point of the criticism.

@RCP_Militant Yes, it was in 2010! The police had the EDL pinned in Forster Sq station. We saw them break out so we ran round the police line. I arrivrd first. Squared up, kicked, didn't land, got punched in the face, then 2000 Asian youth rushed from behind me and battered the EDL.

@everythingcrash Was this around 2010? I remember this as a little kid in Bradford. I vaguely recall a police officer coming into my primary school and telling us to preach love and tolerance; same police who used to roam the estates like a gang looking for trouble. Anyway, very based comrade!

@everythingcrash Yes contempt for theory is a common problem no doubt. That the solution is then to solely focus on reading groups and newspaper sales and not engage in any campaigns or protests doesn't follow.

@hamas_warrior Don't see how that has anything to do with what I said. There is a long history of British groups imposing themselves on Ireland with bad analysis and ideas, the arrogance is just one aspect of the problem

And you dont build an organisation unless you think *that* organisation has the right ideas. It's not arrogance, its common sense & minimum you'd expect of an org that takes itself seriously.

@hamas_warrior I didnt say anything about me. It's the height of arrogance to believe as a brand new group that you have the only answers about the situation in a country where there are already dozens of established groups. An arrogance often associated with a colonial mindset I might add.
