The Muslim community in the UK is outraged at the way police detained the 45-year-old Muslim immigrant who stabbed two Jewish people in London this morning. According to them, officers used excessive force in a ‘dehumanizing’ and ‘Islamophobic’ manner.

Just throwing this one out there as I was asked this question earlier today. A couple both working with a combined income of £50,000 would pay £11,500 a year in income tax and national insurance, Another couple receiving £50,000 in benefits including Universal Credit, Personal Independent Payment, Housing Benefit, Income Support and Child Benefit would pay no income tax or national insurance, keeping the full £50,000. Should the non-working couple on £50,000 a year pay the same amount of income tax and national insurance as the working couple? Please leave a comment below.

We would like all your religious holidays to be abolished, as they could offend the Christian community that we are. We also request permission to participate in school outings wearing our crucifixes around our necks, and to eat our ham sandwiches in the school cafeteria and at work. You will also need to provide a designated space in all your buildings where we can pray in our language, and you will need to provide a translator as we do not speak your language. Should this request be denied, could you please provide us with the addresses of the police stations so that we can file a discrimination complaint? Thank you in advance for your understanding. Oh! I almost forgot, if my children set fire to your flag if the English team wins a game, could you please be as lenient as you are here? I promise, I'll give them a good scolding... Finally, I hope your government will give us loads of benefits and free rent while we adapt to your country, without even having to work, of course, whether it takes months, years, or generations... In the UK the DWP is handing out more than £6,000 to second wives and third wives as part of benefits given to people in polygamous marriages - and the amount is being increased from April.  The DWP has confirmed in its benefits uprating list for 2025-26 that ‘additional spouses’ in ‘polygamous marriages’ are being given a 4.8% boost to their benefits from April.
