These $AMC jackasses post crap like this and then block anyone who questions their stupidity. There's no conversing with most of these people. Sad. This was the response that got me blocked: LOL. You don't even see the problem with your own numbers. Going off your numbers (I haven't double checked them for accuracy) $AMC has 72% more screens but only 56% more revenue...lol. That's a problem. BTW, who gives a flyin' f that "$AMC is the BIGGEST theater chain in the world"? Also, share price is a stupid metric for comparison. It means absolutely nothing unless both companies have the same number of share outstanding. All that said, only one of the two theater chains makes money. Can you guess which one?

When @CEOAdam said that the box office doesn't need to reach pre-covid levels for AMC to be profitable, do you think he was inferring that AMC will begin to have more exclusive showings [musical artists, Netflix shows, etc.] in their theaters which don't count towards box office numbers but greatly help AMC boost their financials or that AMC really doesn't truly need the box office to reach pre-pandemic numbers to be profitable?

My, my how the tables have turned. Simply Wall St fawned over Cinemark and despised AMC. But now, Simply Wall St says Cinemark is risky and AMC is undervalued. Are you starting to notice the narrative shifting in AMC's favor by mainstream news that shunned theaters in favor of streaming, financial publications that scorned AMC and called for it's bankruptcy year after year, all now praising AMC, praising theatrical, promoting movies in theaters and actually promoting AMC? They always set the trend in motion.
