Fyi, Republican voters: undocumented immigrants were paying taxes, tens of billions in taxes. But now, because of your bigotry, they aren't.

This is why we need the SAVE ACT passes today! We are getting these from across the state.

⚠️Looks like Ron DeSantis fucked this state yet again with his hate and thirst for relevance Worst unemployment since Covid 2021 with immigrant sectors suffering some of the biggest declines “Yes, the enforcement actions tying into the labor shortages in construction and hospitality have come primarily from **federal ICE** (Immigration and Customs Enforcement), with strong state-level backing from Governor DeSantis. DeSantis has actively expanded and incentivized this cooperation ( bounty hunters) — including extra state funding, training programs, and policy directives that encourage (and in some cases require) local law enforcement to assist ICE operations rather than limit themselves to criminal cases only. That setup has led to more workplace-focused actions, traffic stops turning into immigration checks, and higher numbers of detentions/deportations in 2025–early 2026 Businesses in construction and hospitality have directly linked those stepped-up efforts (plus the related E-Verify crackdowns) to the exact job losses we were talking about: workers not showing up, crews shrinking, and hiring freezing in those immigrant-heavy sectors. It’s not the whole story behind the unemployment tick-up to 4.5%, ( highest since 2021 covid) it’s a big piece of why those two industries stand out in the January 2026 report”

It’s concerning to see Florida losing so many private-sector jobs in today’s report. Florida must stay focused on creating an environment where our state remains the best place in the country to live, work, and raise a family, and that starts with creating more jobs.

Oh my fucking God. This is insane.
