This is borderline for me. Hate the rug but that’s nbd. Usually don’t like angles different than 90 degrees. But this looks like a really cozy sitting room.

Wow I am totally floored by how many people miss Joann fabrics. I did a lot of "learing" here. And it was totally plundered by private equity. Just a ransacking of a great profitable American business.

Soup: melt chicken smaltz or butter, add oinions. Then add flour cook stirring. Add broth slowly. I make my own so it’s delicious. Then add pieces of chicken and whatever veggies you want. I always put in a tablespoon of tomato paste for the umame. Salt, whatever spices. Thyme and sage here. A little sugar sometimes. Keep going until it tastes right. If it’s not as thick as you wanted, add buerre manie (look on YouTube) and cook a little more. In the day we were instructed to get three uses to a chicken. We did and sometimes more.

I don’t do can soup, but my neighbor called one day and asked me if I had a can of cream of chicken soup. I was like no. There’s no chance. Then, I remembered an old can my mom gave me that I had separated to give back to her. I was like I think I might. I did. Great day.
