When I’m no longer dealing with post-concussion syndrome and can play OSRS again, I want to do a stream where I chop down every single tree in OSRS to see how long it takes.

@OldSchoolRS should start deleting random trees in the middle of nowhere. One per week. Until someone catches on.

@flomple @OldSchoolRS The issue is acc isnt enough, and d cballs are too expensive to be worth using. ACB has this problem (esp b4 zcb release): just acc over dcb didn’t make it worth buying. It was a huge noob trap. Sure d cannon can shoot d cballs but their unaffordability makes that irrelevant

@JagexLight There also is supposedly a shadow rebalance coming. Don’t spend time balancing sailing combat around the Shadow when its just going to change. Next, add a crewmate that uses mage/range, so meta is: player on cannon, crew 1 on cannon, crew 2 attacking like a thrall

@JagexLight Could you please survey the players: 1. Shadow + 2 crew on cannon is bis 2. 1 crew on cannon, 1 player on cannon is bis I want number 2, and I’m surprised the current stance is to NOT devalue the shadow. Its already bis so many places, doesn’t need to be on the ocean.

@1davidj @OldSchoolRS If my proposal above is the avenue they take, dragon cannon balls would be 5 max hits over rune. You’d need to use dragon cannon to shoot them. I also mentioned the barrel should increase accuracy. So dragon barrel rune ball still better than rune barrel rune ball

@flomple @OldSchoolRS Barrels should affect max hit. Otherwise the dragon cannon barrel would be worthless, since there’s not nearly enough dragon cannonballs to be worth using as ammo

@OldSchoolRS Most importantly, it should always be better for the player to be using the cannon.

@OldSchoolRS Keep it simple. Don’t try to balance it to how it was before. Just get it right. Cannon balls should determine max hit: Dragon = 50 Rune = 45 Addy = 40 Etc. Cannon barrel can = accuracy Crew firing + player attacking should be worse than player on cannon at top end

I believe it’s time for the OSRS team to run a beta for all updates. Pick 1000 players to be beta testers. No more updates should come in without player testing like todays boat combat changes. Theres still a lot to be desired with boat combat. I know we’l get there eventually!

My expectation for boat combat was me navigating my boat to avoid attacks, or to chase down npcs. I’m fine with killing birds being click npc and afk, but the skill needs to drastically improve boat pvm to make it exciting. A group boss that involves movement would be perfect.

Bonds = irl money for in game money, via player getting membership. What if you converted the in-game gp for in game XP? How much runecrafting xp would you exchange for 14 days membership? (Obviously never happening, but play along bruv)

@PhosaniNex Nex is un-fun for the majority of people due to: Need kc Far to get to Can’t join mid-kill If you die, you miss at least a few kills typically. Someone on your team needs to pee every few kills and you have to wait

Can we please get a group boss added to the game? Nightmare was supposed to be it but way too many problems. Gimme corp 2.

@TopGoonerOpp Corp as in you can tele there, pop in, do some kills, get some loot. I just want something you can get to fast, do 1-5 min kills, kill in a mass, splits loot based on damage like Nex. Quick and easy log in with the boys, hit boss, get cool rare items.
