SGR inafika Kisumu, and suddenly, everyone is an expert on economic impact and tax collection. Ikiwa Naivasha, everyone was okay. Bwana, we are not lesser beings. We deserve the best things in life. They same way we paid taxes funding projects in your regions is the same way you will pay to fund SGR in our region. Kama hutaki hama Kenya.

They complained about building Isiolo- Modogashe- Wajir -Elwak-Mandera road, Again on dualing of Rironi-Mau Summit and now extension from Narok- Malaba but didn't complain about dualing of Kenol-Marua road. Spacial tribe don't want other parts of Kenya developed.

@Hon_Njeri_Maina 's argument on @citizentvkenya this morning is not just simplistic—it reflects a selective understanding of how national development works: 1. Every major infrastructure project in Kenya has been funded, directly or indirectly, by taxpayers. 2. The Thika Superhighway was not funded by residents of central alone. 3.Mombasa–Nairobi SGR was not paid for by coastal counties alone. 4. These are strategic national assets designed to unlock trade, reduce logistics costs, and drive economic growth across the country. 5. For Njeri to suddenly isolate the SGR extension to Malaba as a “burden” is to ignore this long-standing principle of shared national investment. Infrastructure is not a local luxury, it is a national catalyst. 6. Equity is a national value and fairness in the distribution of resources is a constitutional demand. 7. What does equitable development mean in practice? It means extending infrastructure to historically underserved regions, like Western Kenya and the Malaba corridor, to integrate them into national and regional trade networks. 8. The SGR extension is not charity; it is a constitutional obligation to balance development and expand opportunity.

A university student studying at Bomet University will easily take SGR from Mombasa to Bomet Town. Another will take the SGR from Yala to Narok, to go school at Maasai Mara Uni. The SGR Phase 2B and 2C connects Kenya in fundamental ways. Kenya is being transformed.
