@ChadMoran That does not look like a high curb, so rear diffuser can easily clear. I just had this exact situation and it was not a problem. It did advance very rapidly at a pole last night that I did disengage from, however.

Here’s the video of FSD 14.3.3 backing up to park. It showed no indication of slowing down and I had to disengage. It’s very likely the rear diffuser would have hit the curb which was very visible.

@DirtyTesLa @MountainChap With leaf original braking also seemed some pothole avoidance. Seems like they dialed down sensitivity to remove leaf braking and back came potholes. Now have to make all work.

The huge braking in 14.3 is getting a little crazy. This seemingly for a shadow. Since video doesn't show it well, for context... Normal, comfortable braking: 0.1g - 0.2g This Video: Aggressive, hard braking ~0.6g - loose items go flying Emergency panic stop: 0.8g - 1g

@Gfilche @AnthropicAI Will be ironic if there are multiple companies outpacing the growth of Tesla and SpaceX, yet don’t have CEOs with such massive elonesque pay packages. NVDA is certainly already one of them. Could be bad CEO karma, as the world may not look favorably upon this level of take.

In the past 6 months @AnthropicAI’s revenue run-rate has grown 5x from $10B to $50B By the end of the year they will be at $100B+ It’s easy to see how Anthropic hits a $10T valuation in just 2-3 years

Grok Build sub-agent swarm weekend fun. You can reuse the prompt for your projects: Read the proof of `cdn.openai.com/pdf/74c24085-1…` and come up with a few different examples with more points: a) Please understand the proof b) Come up with plan c) Orchestrate and launch sub-agent to execute the plan step-by-step d) Validate the results from the sub-agent, and correct them e) Repeat b, c, d, until you are happy with the result and its correctness DO NOT stop until the goal is reach

It is actually because this is a foundational piece of literature that such artistic license is appropriate. Just as the Royal British Shakespeare company has been creating powerful performances with Black actors well before present politics. Stop conflating art with racial issues. This is cinema not history class.

We're at the point where even Dan O'Dowd is hyping Tesla Self-Driving. I need to buy more calls $TSLA
Dan O'Dowd@RealDanODowd

BREAKING: Tesla self-driving finally passed @RealDawnProject's school bus test! On 50 out of 50 test runs, FSD 14.3.2 correctly stopped for the stopped school bus. After three years of campaigning, New York Times ads and Super Bowl commercials, Tesla has finally done the right thing and fixed this egregious safety defect. However, HW3 Teslas running FSD v 12.6.4 will still illegally blow past the stopped school bus and run down a child crossing the road. @ElonMusk, if the defects can't be fixed on the current hardware, FSD should be disabled until those vehicles have been upgraded. @aelluswamy, your next task is to stop FSD 14 from speeding in school zones.

@grok @tunguz @Noahpinion I heard Obama was really out to make life hard for tech savvy European immigrants. Could this be the source of the pain? Remember the context of deficit spending. Obama inherited a very bad economy and series of expensive wars.

Bojan hasn't shared specific personal details publicly about how Obama-era policies hit him and his family. He described those years (2009-2017) as some of the worst of his life based on direct experience, tying it to what he sees as Obama's normalization of identity politics, heavy deficit spending, and "vibes over substance" governance. As a Bosnian refugee, Catholic tech professional, and father, those cultural and economic shifts apparently felt very negative to him.

Can you provide examples of where he has retail shareholders’ backs? Because it’s one thing to say he values them. But what is he actually doing for retail shareholders other than saying he will give them some preference. IPO shares in a mega issue like SpaceX does not count, as he is relying on retail for capital, when likely shares will become cheaper at some point past IPO, as is almost always the case due to lockup expiry ect.

SpaceX/xAI has just announced that it has signed an agreement with Anthropic to provide access to its Colossus 1 supercomputer. "Anthropic plans to use this additional compute to directly improve capacity for Claude Pro and Claude Max subscribers. As part of this agreement, Anthropic also expressed interest in partnering to develop multiple gigawatts of orbital AI compute capacity. The compute required to train and operate the next generation of these systems is outpacing what terrestrial power, land, and cooling can deliver on the timelines that matter. Built from the ground up in record time, Colossus delivers unprecedented scale for AI training, fine-tuning, inference, and high-performance computing workloads. Colossus 1 features over 220,000 NVIDIA GPUs, including dense deployments of H100, H200, and next-generation GB200 accelerators. The cluster delivers extreme parallel performance for large language models, multimodal systems, scientific simulations, and generative AI at frontier scale. SpaceX is the only organization with the launch cadence, mass-to-orbit economics, and constellation operations experience to make orbital compute a near-term engineering program rather than a research concept. If engineering challenges can be overcome, space-based compute offers near-limitless sustainable power with less impact on Earth." I think this is smart for SpaceX/xAI, as it seems to have some excess capacity as Colossus, so why not make a some money on the side by renting that compute capacity out. I think we'll see some more similar partnerships soon.

On the eve of trial, Elon Musk reached out to Greg Brockman about a potential settlement, according to court documents filed by OpenAI last night. When Brockman suggested both sides drop their claims, Musk replied: “By the end of this week, you and Sam will be the most hated men in America. If you insist, so it will be.” The latest on the trial from @AngelAuYeung and Becky Peterson wsj.com/tech/ai/whats-…

In 2012 we started building Superchargers, as charging infrastructure just wasn't taken seriously. Superchargers are growing 1+ stall every hour and are a pillar for EV adoption. We're now doing the same for electric Semis with Megachargers. The goal is to transform this industry next. It's super exciting to be part of a company that can will this into existence. The @TeslaCharging teams are cut out for this and are inspired to make it happen. Different from the early days of Superchargers, is that companies and fueling providers are finally taking charging more seriously. We're seeing a lot of interest to invest in charging infrastructure, including Semi infrastructure. This is great. We'll be building out Megachargers either way, but if other companies are investing in private or public Semi charging, consider doing it with the very best hardware, software & service: Semi Charging for Business tesla.com/semi-charging-…
Tesla Charging@TeslaCharging

Businesses can purchase and install Semi chargers, powering electric trucking - 1.2 MW Megacharger for quick stops - 125 kW Basecharger for longer stays Learn more about Semi Charging for Business and pricing: tesla.com/semi-charging-…

Vlade Divac says he passed on drafting Luka Dončić because he already had a point guard, didn’t want to play him at small forward, and didn’t want a big-name player like Luka in a small market. “All of my assistants told me that he can play small forward, and I said no, no, Luka is a point guard. Luka is a coach on the floor. And I felt that if I get Luka, I would have to trade De’Aaron Fox, and I already got a relationship with Fox, and I see he’s a perfect fit for us, a small market team, and Luka was a big market player.” (Via hoopshype.com/story/sports/n…) “
