The news is finally out: #IOTA is the first licensed and regulated DLT Foundation in Abu Dhabi, UAE 🇦🇪 With a new headquarter in the UAE, we are positioning IOTA from being an Enterprise Blockchain in Europe, to becoming one of the largest, global Crypto ecosystems. After spending time here and working closely with regulators, large enterprises, government officials and key individuals, I can confidently say that the UAE is the best home for innovative new technologies and digital ecosystems like IOTA. The leadership of the UAE has a strong vision of the future and they have the foresight, deep understanding and willingness to support innovative new technologies. Instead of being held back, innovation is enabled to thrive. There is no country like the UAE, and I am proud to call it home now. I am incredibly grateful to have met some of the most amazing, supportive and open people. @ArchieMacmurchy @AsIfProds Agree! And that's the thing. It's not pay per view. It's free to open an article. You only pay for what you read as you scroll. If you read 10% you pay 10% of the article value. So if it's click bait then you just stop scrolling and only pay a few cents.

@fozter @AsIfProds That's even worse then just subscribing. Pay per view/ especially based on how much of an a article you read is ridiculous. Most of the online journalism nowadays is all click-baited, uninspiring humdrum to get a quick buck.

How to get past the nytimes paywall: 1. rightclick inspect 2. find div id "gateway-content" and delete it 3. find div class "css-mcm29f" and remove the class The page will now scroll as normal.

A browser plugin that has a pre-loaded wallet to pay for paywalled articles. Then integrate with publications to enable pay per read.

So even if the candy they enticed you with isn't to your liking you only pay for the bites you took, not the whole piñata! Opens up a publisher's top-of-funnel. Let's them 'see the whole board'.
