If you want to make a game, make the game you want to play. Focusing on $$$ means two things: 1. You are going to make something you probably don't like. 2. The make money path = compete with everyone on that path. Being weird = low competition.

weird to notice that i simultaneously - believe chatGPT is much, much smarter than the average person - immediately stop reading something after realizing it’s written by chatGPT

An era of scarcity is ending! We’re moving toward a world of extreme abundance where the essentials of life, food, education, basic services, become nearly free. In that future, intelligence itself will be something we can purchase on demand. Cheap cognitive power from AI will help humanity solve big exciting problems that once looked impossible: curing diseases, exploring space, maybe even extending life indefinitely. Ironically, the biggest challenge in such a world may not be survival, but meaning. Some people might even choose mortality simply to experience limits again. Think of it like a video game. A game with infinite lives and no risk quickly becomes boring. But a game where you can fail, where the stakes are real, suddenly feels meaningful.
