@JulianeWriter @l_u_n_a13 i often find people who are like-minded *enough* within certain contexts. TBH a lot of things a human feels motivated to say to another human don't even require much like-mindedness - just an ear and a minute. I think I could make a stronger case for *like curiousness*. Yeah.

Intermittently having tons of crying spells today I don’t know. Should that be numbed and I couldn’t even make tears a couple months ago what’s worse, emotional expression or numbness?

Sometimes I wonder if it would be better to be on an SSRI have my emotions numbed I don’t like it and I find it makes my executive functioning even worse among other side effects. It’s a hard thing really because I feel like I can’t manage life right now at all

@dorkburger84 I live in constant fear of further dispossession. But I'm starting to counter that with a new feeling that suggests "Justine won't let me die," which feels true and absolves some stress. It's hard to trust it, it's hard to trust anyone at all. But I'm getting there.

The brain and body *want* to be used, pushed to their limits and a little beyond... then they want to rest and recuperate for the next one. The problem is that our society has diverted all energies into economic stressors, which thwarts your evolution and poisons your brainchem.

@l_u_n_a13 when i was young i learned to turn toxicity into fuel. a lot of punks and rockers do this - "the poison drive" but u can't do it forever. So now i'm fueled by something much more like spite... aimed at this whole gnostic roleplaying game. If I'm here, I'mo play the game I want.

Also This is very subjective I suppose but Hearing someone say they've suffered in a similar way can be incredibly powerful simply as confirmation that, "You're not imagining things and you're not overreacting to something harmless, your problem is real and worthy of concern"

Capitalism rewards wealth creation by the consumer's standard. Many socialists struggle with this because they often treat wealth as if it's zero sum, where one person's success must come at another's expense. That makes it difficult to accept anyone becoming "too wealthy," no matter how much value they create for others. The result is a push to cap the rewards for producers while expanding claims on what they produce, creating weaker incentives to create wealth and a race to the bottom.
