In order for a double standard to exist, he would have had to have a blatantly stated standard about advocating for race based casting in voice acting - but wuh oh, he never did! @Logan98606007 @G0ffThew If it makes you feel any better, the film is a pretty alright starting point for getting into Umamusume since it’s not directly tied to anything else. Same goes for Cinderella Gray if you want to check that out, it’s a fantastic sports drama

The attribution of the original Umamusme series in the original tweet is incorrect because the animation teams behind that are PA Works (season 1) and Studio Kai (seasons 2 and 3). All other larger Umamusme anime projects however were made by Cygames Pictures.
