At this point Gulf states basically don't trust any of the parties to this war. They fear that: - America will declare victory, pack up and leave behind a mess in the region; - Iran won't halt its attacks on the GCC even after the war ends, having discovered they are an effective means of coercion; - Israel is trying to drag them into the conflict via media leaks and other pressure; - a prolonged war, or direct involvement on their part, will exacerbate their own divisions, both between countries and within them economist.com/middle-east-an…
