Aaaand it’s time to go home ✈️ honestly @Ryanair have been fantastic so far. Still yet to get on the plane but the staff have been so attentive and welcoming with checking my brother, I and my wheelchair so far… I can’t lie, I’m ready for my own bed 😴 I’m as tired as I look!

The #OsteogenesisImperfecta Multi-stakeholder Meeting is taking place today! OI patient advocate @gem_turner opened with a talk on living with OI. Gem described the event as an opportunity to "see the person behind the science" in a setting where "everybody is valued".

Flying as a wheelchair user is always anxiety inducing - but massive thank you to @Ryanair for providing fab assistance myself and Pam (wheelchair) have arrived safe and sound! 🇮🇹✈️ looking forward to joining everyone for the @REMEDi4ALL event tomorrow!

Imagine trying to just work and having to deal with extra things like this whilst being told “it’s just the way it is”. Then we’re expected to dust ourselves off and be professional. Which of course Penny I’m sure you will be amazing 🩷 but this sitch is not surprising sadly
