Woke up to the news this morning that ALRA has closed. 5 years of auditions, get a place with a full scholarship; have the best time,only to wake up to an email saying that I can’t go back next term. I don’t know how to feel. Devastated for my fellow students and amazing teachers

So I’ve had a cry - I think I’ve been in shock most of the day about what’s happened at ALRA and haven’t been able to process it - it was already very challenging going back to drama school as a mature student but my peers were amazing, talented and supportive and in 2nd (1/3)

@DVLAgovuk how do I get a response?? I’ve been trying for over a year to get in contact with someone in person? You can’t get through on phone or chat and have not got emails back!! PLEASE SOMEONE RESPOND!!!

@DVLAgovuk Literally on the website it says “all our advisories are currently unavailable” when you try the chat option and when you call you can the same in a verbal response then it hangs up and I’ve not had a response to email!! I have literally tried 3 times today. @DVLAgovuk
