Bhekumuzi Protas Dube, known as “Africa’s Schumacher,” has been taken off the roads following a #NenzaniLaEzweni operation by RTI Park Rynie, KZN. He was caught driving at 198 km/h in a 120 km/h zone and has since had his licence suspended for a year. He was also fined R40,000 or faces 12 months in prison (half suspended for 5 years). Dube has a criminal history: in 2015 he was arrested with accomplices while stripping a stolen Toyota Avanza and found with tools used in vehicle theft and tampering.
