Horrific behaviour from this council. We know this mum and her son and she’s in floods of tears, frightened and at her wits end. It’s not good enough. It’s not even nearly good enough. Women fleeing abuse deserve SO MUCH BETTER. Thank you @Kwajotweneboa for stepping up again.❤️

Please Share🙏🏽🚨 - Today the RBKC sent an Abuse Victim and her son to emergency accommodation in Dagenham (Essex). Mum and son arrived to no beds, furniture, and the place is filthy. Staff have since clocked off and gone home…

"Retiring from rugby was the biggest mistake of my life". Telling that abusing his wife and mother of his 5 kids for years isn't his biggest mistake. You might have thought it would be, but no. Happily, Hogg is "finally valuing himself" now. Phew. telegraph.co.uk/rugby-union/20…

@NataliePage So many mothers victim blamed in family court. I wish more cases could be brought forward. Appeals aren’t always possible and the JCIO does not consider this type of conduct an issue worth investigating regardless of devastating effects on a vulnerable party.

A mum sidelined by the court from her child's life after an act of desperation due to her child's father's abuse has CASE OVERTURNED 🏆 High Court judge has overturned a family court order that sidelined a mother from her child’s life, after that court gave more weight to her single suicide attempt than to the father’s serious domestic violence, including a knife attack on a previous partner that resulted in a prison sentence.

Thanks @DrProudman for speaking for the children and noting that #familycourt professionals often may not even speak to children (in fact in 1/2 of cases, according to Nuffield FJO Hargreaves et al) & notes that many judges also do not see that a rapist father is a harmful parent

I made a promise to post my detailed account of medical rape, every time this issue comes up. I would like my profession to start engaging with the enormity of this issue. Male doctors sexually assaulting patients and female colleagues is not rare. lascapigliata.com/personal/break…

#holdalljudgestoaccount When the JCIO and the BSB have thresholds so high for complaints to be taken seriously, it’s obvious that they are not there to uphold standards. They exist to protect reputations. A robust complaints process would not only improve accountability but would encourage higher standards, greater care and better conduct in the first place. Surely this isn’t too much to ask of those who make decisions everyday that can alter the course of people’s lives. REAL accountability is essential not some tick-box exercise put in place to keep ‘us’ in our place!
Dr Charlotte Proudman@DrProudman

Judge Daniel Sawyer harassed me with an anonymous account after I spoke out about the poor treatment of rape victims. The Judicial Conduct Investigations Office (JCIO) refused the complaint. When judges police judges, we have no confidence in the JCIO. archive.is/VvAAv

🚨Police to monitor victims not perpetrators 🚨 It's always the victim who loses rights and privacy. "Hand over your phone," they say. Now it's "We'll tag you to keep you safe." Because monitoring serious criminals sounds too much like policing.
The Telegraph@Telegraph

Rape and domestic abuse victims will be tracked to prevent them ever coming into contact with their attackers under Britain’s biggest-ever expansion of tagging. Read more here ⤵️ telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/03/1…

One day an army of children will want answers and the family courts and the government will need to be ready. Answers to why their childhoods were stolen and messed up, why they were robbed of their mothers, why they weren’t listened to, why no one helped them and why all this was done by a cruel pseudoscientific experiment. But the government doesn’t need to wait for the children demanding answers. It can act now and stop the cruel practice of child removal by the family courts and outlaw the so-called experts who profit from it. Amanda’s children need to be reunited with her, please don’t wait until it’s too late to salvage their childhoods
Amanda Against Abuse@AmandaAgainstDA

Six months. Six months since I’ve held my children, heard their laughter up close, been their mum in the way mothers are supposed to be. Except for two brief moments, doctor’s appointments I booked, because that’s what mothers do. Fifteen minutes each. That’s all I’ve had. And that was the problem, apparently. Not that the children needed medical care. Not that I ensured they got it. But that I was the one who booked it. So now we’re back to supervised contact as per father’s demands. A sterile room. A clock on the wall. A stranger in the corner. Think about what that does to a child’s mind. One day, mummy is home. She’s tucking you in, making decisions, being mum. Then she does exactly what a mother should do, and suddenly you’re watching her through a window of rules and restrictions, wondering what she did wrong. What are we teaching them? That love can be weaponised. That care can be punished. That one parent holds the power to erase the other through control. And family court allows it. Children are watching. They are learning. And they will one day understand exactly what happened here.

@Helen_Fields @louistheroux I've been reluctant to comment on this doc because of the insistence that now Theroux has covered we must all treat his findings as revelatory. As you note, they are not. It is also the umpteenth male fronted programme on the subject. Sidelining women on this issue is a mistake.

A woman was raped in her hotel room and NOW Travelodge puts a rule in place that staff must have consent to give your key to someone else. The fact that this wasn’t already a rule is genuinely terrifying. No one cares about the safety of women & girls.
Vittoria@vitt2tsnoc

After a woman was raped in her hotel room… Travelodge now says staff must get explicit consent before giving someone a key to a guest’s room. I genuinely cannot get over the fact that this apparently needed to be written down as a NEW RULE in 2026. What the actual fuck.
