The world’s biggest exporter of cheap goods doesn’t have a consumer base for Canadian products. Their economy is built on selling, not buying.Even if every other country doubled their trade with us, it would barely cover one-third of the loss. You can hate Trump all you want, but throwing a tantrum like 5 year old doesn’t change the facts: our economy is tied to the US. We need them as a customer. I don't think the USA will allow Canada to drift any further away. I think Trump views the Canada-USA border itself as a bad deal that needs to be fixed for the long-term. What a lasting legacy... for the real estate mogul to pull off the largest real estate deal in history.
