Introducing a New Era for Rumble Kong League - Hermit Crab Hits The Court! 🎮 We are thrilled to announce an exciting transition in the development of the Rumble Kong League. After careful consideration and a commitment to delivering the best sports gaming experience possible, we welcome a new game development partner! After meeting with a multitude of talented sports-focused game development partners, we are thrilled to welcome the creative talents of Brazilian-based game studio Hermit Crab! 🔶Why We’ve Changed Studios? The decision to transition to @hermitcrabgame comes after extensive evaluation, feedback, and assessment of our previous partner’s progress and goal alignment. It became evident that certain challenges, such as talent, time management, and development milestones, hindered our progress, missing deadlines and stretching timescales. Whilst our previous development partner contributed greatly to the game's foundation, we believe that change is essential for growth in the RKL. Hermit Crab brings a breath of fresh air, extensive experience, and their entire team’s vision is fully aligned with the RKL team. It is important to note, this change will only advance the RKL to market. 🔶Who is Hermit Crab? Since their inception in 2016, Hermit Crab has built a team of ~100 dedicated professionals, boasting over a decade of collective experience in the gaming industry. Their expertise not only covers game development, but also extends to game distribution and brand licensing. They've created games for renowned sports organizations such: 🔷Arsenal 🔷Barcelona 🔷Manchester City 🔷PSG & Many Others! They bring an immense amount of experience within the sports genre, especially with successful titles reaching millions. As an example, their PSG Freestyle game has more than 6 million downloads on mobile platforms, with the app still gathering more than 180,000 monthly active users. Another important point for us in a new studio was Web3 familiarity. Recent creations for giants 'The Sandbox' further exemplify Hermit Crab's commitment to innovation, particularly in the web3 gaming space. The transition to Hermit Crab signifies an exciting new chapter for Rumble Kong League, as we collectively venture into new territories of direct immersive gameplay, innovation, and an enriching basketball experience. 🔶What’s Next? The studio has already been onboarded, familiarized with the existing project handover and is currently working on the next milestones, which will include direct player control, overall game improvements, and expanded immersive experiences, as well as the first implementation of RKL on a mobile client. The objective remains unchanged, to have a playable release candidate by EOY. This studio change only accelerates our timeline in getting the RKL game into the hands of players globally. We just wanted to thank the Rumble Kong community for your incredible support, we cannot wait to showcase content that’s already being worked on! The @RumbleKongs are bringing their talents to Avalanche, and they're not coming alone. Rumble Kong League, the highly anticipated Web3 basketball game, already has some big names behind it. Now, they'll all be hooping with Avalanche. 🔥

Rumble Kong League is excited to announce that we've chosen Avalanche, to support the RKL ecosystem as our blockchain scaling solution. We're super pumped to finally reveal @GamingOnAvax, and couldn't be more excited for what's to come in the future! 🔥 Of course, this announcement brings questions, that's why we've compiled a list of some below, to get you started and keep you up to date with what's next. Together, with @avax, we continue to build out the RKL universe and this is yet another exciting milestone for the Rumble Kong League. Why Avalanche? We’ve met with every major scaling solution, blockchain, L2 and clicked the most with the team over at Avalanche. From day 1, we’ve been speaking the same language when it comes to usability, and player experience in web3 gaming. Avalanche offers us the most straightforward tech, developer tooling, and our ambitions have been fully aligned with the team for quite some time now. After all, the team has been following RKL closely from mint day and knows the project inside and out! What will happen to ETH NFTs once they are migrated? We will gradually transition to Avalanche, but want to make sure that the experience is as smooth as possible for all of you. As an RKL player, you should only have to worry about scoring buckets, and less about all the technical aspects, happening under the hood. We don’t have any specific timeline for existing ETH NFTs at this point, but will keep you in the loop. How will interactions between ETH and Avalanche look? Our goal is that all transactions and interactions will happen on Avalanche, yet, we won't be shutting ourselves off from communities and collections from other chains. Our goal has always been to build an inclusive game, and we will find ways to make avatars from various chains playable. Will future collections be released on ETH or Avalanche? Our mid to long-term goals are focused on the Avalanche network. We will implement solutions that will make interactions with the RKL ecosystem as easy and straightforward as possible, so you can focus on what's important; playing and winning basketball games.
