Example: you can get an MRI scan in China for about $50, same day.
Food costs less, rent in most cities is less. A 5 star hotel in China (same chain) costs 1/10th as much as in America. You can get a good electric care for about 20K, etc, etc...

Chinese infrastructure photos are wild because they seem so advanced, except then you're reminded that China has a GDP per capita similar to Mexico. Impressive 30+ year gains, but what this tells us is that infrastructure is actually kinda easy to do!

Solar panels work for 40-60 years.
Wind Turbines work for 25 years, at which point they only need their blades replacing, 5% of the cost, the actual turbine will last for centuries by which point it will be completely outdated.

Panels that can tilt are pretty much standard for utility installation there. They get the worst hail storms in USA. Most places don't worry about baseball sized hail.

This the reason your property taxes don't increase when you get solar because the insurance companies consider the panels protecting the roof.
