NEWS: 2028 - 6’5 SG Grayson Burton (@graysonburt24) will be enrolling at Corbin, he tells @NextUpRecruits Burton’s father Kevin Burton was named Corbin’s new boys basketball head coach earlier today.

With 2028 G @graysonburt24’s dad getting the job at Corbin, expect Burton to transfer from Madison Central to play for his dad. It also sounds like Burton won’t be the only impact transfer for Corbin.

Burton has really improved his game as a floor general and defender. Has made some very difficult passes in this first half against WV Gold. Switching onto quicker guards and holding his own/getting stops on defense.

My third highlighted game of the day of the @hoopseen Main Event brought another fierce clash, this time between TN Impact 3SSB 2028 and Team S.M.A.S.H. Pro OTR… and early on, it was a straight battle of wills. Neither side blinked. Every possession was contested, every run answered, and it stayed razor tight to the tune of 29-28 at the half. You could feel it building… like one run was about to break everything open. That moment came in the second half. TN Impact flipped a switch. The rhythm showed up, the chemistry started flowing, and everything began clicking at once. What was once a one-point game quickly turned into a wave that Team S.M.A.S.H. couldn’t slow down. Impact poured it on from every angle, turning pressure into points and defense into momentum, stretching it wide open into a commanding 75-48 win. #24 Grayson Burton(@graysonburt24 ) led the charge with 19pts, raining in 3 triples and setting the tone during that second half surge. #11 Miles Alexander (@MilesA_2028 ), aka The Prodigy, added 14pts, staying aggressive and keeping the pressure on. #14 chipped in 13pts as well, giving Impact another strong scoring punch in that balanced attack. Team S.M.A.S.H. Pro OTR was led by #2 @Pjrosser2027, who finished with 12pts and continued to compete despite the second-half run. This one was tight, physical, and up for grabs early… but once TN Impact found that flow, it turned into a runaway. @TennImpact
