Happy owner of new hip! On way home shortly. Thank you @RJAH_NHS - had particular delight of finding the anaesthetist knew me from @ellesmerecoll. All your doctors, nurses, assistants have been brilliant.

@MoTGM It's really heartening to see how Bullocks has survived all the upheaval in changes in public transport. Are they now the oldest coach company in and around Manchester?

Bullock's of Cheadle is a well-respected name in the coach industry. This Ford was snapped on 18 September 1981 - but we're not telling you where, as it's our #MysteryMonday photo. Do you know where it was? Tell us if you think you know, and we'll confirm the answer later.

Over the weekend, MFHs Uncle Denny passed. He was 91. Because life is aggressively being life at our place, we were unable to travel for the funeral which was today. We were so pleased that Aunt Joyce had the service live streamed so we could be there virtually! So, for our lunchtime, we were virtually at Uncle Denny’s funeral.

And that's another one done. A warm one, but thankfully a lot of it was on shady trails, and there was a nice breeze over the water too. Thanks to all the marshalls and volunteers at @Carsington7 👍👍 A lovely event.

Thirteen years ago today we married in St Augustine’s Penarth. We celebrated with a trip to Cardiff Bay, lunch and going to see Mr Burton in Everyman Cinema

The Pittsburgh Marathon is in the book! Today was not my day for anything close to a PR, and that’s on me. Got it done and looking forward to some great company later for dinner!

@MoTGM I noticed what I presume is a Bolton corporation bus stop sign?

Miniskirt, flares, litter and a SELNEC bus - this has to be the 1970s. But where was it? It's #MysteryMonday so it's over to you to say if you think you know. And our studio has deleted the bus destination blind to make it that bit harder...

Played my favorite game today ☺️ The game: Is it a stick or a snake? Today it was a beautiful Speckled King Snake! These guys eat venomous snakes as snacks so they’re good to have around. He politely posed for his pic then slithered off the road to avoid traffic.

Early morning in the woods on the Llanforda Estate. Mist between here and Breidden & Middletown hills. Lots of bluebells, & paths I'd never walked before🙂 happy I can do the tricky terrain again now.

#manchestermarathon you were a tough one today, it was a struggle when the heat kicked in. I didn’t get my time goal, mainly due to trying not to vomit in the last third, but I did get a 5 minute PB, a massive big toe blister and a big ole medal #runninggirl #justkeeprunning

And it is done! Not fast, certainly not pretty (but the Derbyshire and Peak District scenery compensated for that) and it completed the unfinished business of last year's DNF.
