Vote out APC in 2027 elections. They have failed Nigerian youths. We will never forget the lives of the protesters that were taken at EndSARS.

Testimonies of survivors at Jilli Market 😢
BSN@Barristerstreet

🇳🇬 JUST IN: Survivor Recounts Horror of Jilli Market Airstrike – “There Was No Warning” A survivor of the deadly Nigerian Air Force airstrike on Jilli’s busy weekly market has recounted the terrifying moment bombs rained down without any prior warning. Mala Garba, 42, currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Maiduguri, described the attack in chilling terms: “The airstrike hit the entire Jilli town. All of us were living in the town. There was no warning.” He added: “I don’t know if there were jihadists at the market. We are just ordinary people.” Another survivor, who had gone to the market to buy animals, narrated how the attack unfolded shortly after evening prayers: “I went to the market with my horse. All of a sudden, a jet came. I didn’t even know what was going on, and everyone there did not pay attention to the jet. We were there after Maghrib prayer around six before the strike began. “Three jets came, sometimes three, sometimes two. They were interchanging. The first one came, dropped fire, the second one came and dropped its own too.” A third eyewitness, Ahmed Ali, 43, a trader in medical supplies, told Reuters: “I became so scared and attempted to run away, but a friend dragged me and we all lay on the ground.” Another injured victim said: “I was with about 30 people and we all fell down after being struck.” Multiple survivors stressed that the market was fully active, with traders and buyers going about their normal business when the jets suddenly appeared and began bombing without any warning or evacuation notice. The strike reportedly left stalls completely destroyed, with bodies burned beyond recognition and dozens of injured rushed to hospitals in Geidam and Maiduguri. Human rights group Amnesty International and local sources, citing eyewitness accounts, estimate that over 100 people may have been killed, though the exact toll remains unconfirmed due to the remoteness of the area. The Nigerian Air Force has confirmed the operation, stating it targeted a terrorist location, and says an investigation into reports of civilian casualties is ongoing.

Our hearts are heavy for Jilli Market. Lord, comfort the grieving, heal the injured, and guide our nation toward systems that preserve life, not destroy it. We stand with every family affected — and we continue to speak for dignity, justice, and peace.

🇳🇬 JUST IN - Despite initial denials, footage has emerged showing the aftermath of the April 11, 2026 airstrike at Jilli market along the Borno–Yobe border, where civilians were hit during an operation targeting Boko Haram militants, with deaths estimated between 50 and 200.

Nigeria Defence forces left terrorists & bandits to walk freely, killed innocent civillians at Jilli Market, Borno State, calling the "target airstrike" a mistake. Can someone ask them - are they blind or are they civillians in Army uniform? And who authorised the airstrike?

🇳🇬 JUST IN: Up to 200 Feared Dead After Nigerian Air Force Airstrike Hits Busy Market on Borno–Yobe Border As many as 200 people are feared dead, with dozens injured, after a Nigerian Air Force (NAF) airstrike mistakenly struck a crowded weekly market on Saturday. The incident occurred at Jilli Market, a key trading hub located between Gubio Local Government Area and Geidam Local Government Area, where traders from surrounding communities had gathered in large numbers. According to eyewitnesses and local officials, fighter jets operating under Operation Hadin Kai launched the strike targeting suspected Boko Haram and Islamic State West Africa Province elements believed to be active in the area. However, the bombs missed their intended targets and hit the civilian market instead. Multiple explosions tore through the crowded trading ground, sending traders and buyers fleeing in panic. Eyewitnesses described widespread devastation, with bodies scattered across the scene and many victims buried under debris. Victims were rushed to the Specialist Hospital Geidam, where at least 14 injured persons are currently receiving treatment. Several others have reportedly been referred to Damaturu due to the severity of their injuries. While initial eyewitness counts confirmed at least 56 bodies, local sources now warn that the true death toll could be significantly higher, with some estimates placing it at up to 200 fatalities as recovery efforts continue. As of Sunday afternoon, the Nigerian Air Force and Defence Headquarters have yet to issue an official statement addressing the incident or confirming civilian casualties. The Borno–Yobe border remains a volatile frontline in Nigeria’s ongoing counter-insurgency campaign, where civilian populations continue to face deadly risks as terrorists operate within and around local communities. This is a developing story. Casualty figures are expected to be updated as more information emerges.

Nigeria is just a low-quality and low-intelligence society. Imagine a Minister for Budget and Economic Planning buying kola nuts from children who should ordinarily be in school. He’s proud to be captured on camera. These are the kinds of mindsets managing our economy. This is why we are running three National budgets concurrently because we have folks like this in charge.
