@aria_gerson When is the last time a SEC team won fewer than 20 overall games in a season? I don’t see anyway they win more than 4-5 games the rest of the season.

Sources: TCU is expected to hire Army AD Mike Buddie as the school's next athletic director. The deal is expected to come together in the upcoming days. Buddie has been at Army since 2019 and worked as the AD at Furman prior to that.

@leomagaorl @TheGoodPhight The Mets played great baseball up until the last week of the season. They entered the postseason having lost 4 of 6. I think the verdict on the extended rest is that one can argue how detrimental it is but it’s not shown to be any real benefit either.

Now had they done that in 2 or 3 series You have a point. 7-11 is pathetic and should not be rewarded for losing that consistently. Get swept happens even to good teams. To drop several series 1-2 shows you are not very good.

@MikePalmieri11 @dodson_jason @00htani @Ralph_Seegobin Both UCF and St John’s turned out to be NCAA tournament teams. UF went 7-11 in the regular season vs Top 10 rated RPI teams. FSU went 0-3 vs the top 10. Nobody played more or beat more RPI top 10 teams than UF.

The point was you don't just get a pass(or do you) for playing and losing to the good teams more than 50% of tries.

I don’t understand your point. Georgia Tech went 15-15 in the ACC, didn’t beat anyone of note in non conf. If they were in the SoCon they’d be out

Again as I have stated several times you let any team from any other conference play the exact same schedule and end with the exact same record, that team gets left out.

When we interviewed Sully after the Clemson regional he said all you want to do is get in. Once you are in everyone gets a clean slate. Sully knew they were lucky to get into the tournament

Lamar and Charleston had very few and the leagues they play in are not remotely comparable to the SEC. Their gripe should be with JMU, Coastal or Indiana.
