Today’s my last day at @invertaseio. This past year has been a privilege. Working across the Flutter and Dart communities, and especially the server-side Dart ecosystem, gave me a front-row seat to some of the most exciting work happening in the space right now. To the server-side Dart community: I’m not going anywhere. Still active, still contributing, still pushing this forward.

the framing is off imo. i build production software with claude code daily. 90% of the actual code is ai generated. nobody cares who wrote the code. what matters is whether you can read it, debug it when it breaks, and make the architectural calls the model cant. vibe coding is a skill problem not a tool problem

@juanmcopia @tomilola_ng I agree to this... I vibecode and learn the fundamentals as I go. I battled a lot with Supabase's RLS policies when I started but now I have foundational understanding of it and can now debug it personally too.

@tomilola_ng I think there is a middle ground to this.. if you want to build something, go ahead and vibe code it.. but learn in the process, ask questions to the AI: How can we do this? what are the options and their trade offs? why are you doing X this way? etc..

You can't vibe code Lovable You can't vibe code Claude Code You can't vibe code PayStack, Stripe If you can vibe code it, it's not big enough, go and learn the basics!
