We've had rank tracking going in @ahrefs for a client for 2.5 years, and the platform deleted all the data and started over. Ahrefs support and engineering have no idea how to help. Not sure why we are paying the insane premium Ahrefs charges if our data can't even be retained.

@ahrefs Do you have any plan to implement Pay for what you use, for your API? Would love to come back to you, but i can't justify paying $130/month for my bootstrap project.

@ThisIsSingleton @ahrefs you’re welcome to reach out to our Support team, and one of our agents will be glad to look into it for you. In general, if a specific image isn’t shown, it usually means the user server didn’t provide it to our crawler.

@hello_clareh @ahrefs It's also a bummer that ahrefs ends up getting served pngs instead of webp or avif images. I have image optimization setup if the browser supports avif or webp, but instead ahrefs gets pngs.

Hey @ahrefs experts. Do these get counted against "Health Score"? If so, is there a way to remove them counting towards health score? At least "Page has links to broken page", as it's often ahrefs being blocked by the website it's trying to crawl to verify if it's broken or not.

@ThisIsSingleton @ahrefs I hear you! The Site Audit tool uses our AhrefsSiteAudit bot, so the results reflect exactly what the bot encountered when it crawled your site.

@hello_clareh @ahrefs Got it! It's kind of a bummer that ahrefs getting blocked ends up negatively impacting a site's score. I get that ahrefs doesn't know the difference of being blocked because it's ahrefs and an actual user being blocked... But still cause a lot of manual checking.

@ahrefs What's even weirder is that some of the broken links are 404s, even if they don't actually 404... For example, this one lindenwoodlions.com/news/2023/9/4/… it exists, but it's reported as a 404

@hello_clareh @ahrefs It was all good a couple of minutes later. But I hadn’t used Ahrefs all day, so being rate limited at login was a bit strange. Anyway, all good now. Thanks.

@ahrefs Wonder if it's just part of their volumes update and a regular purge? Seeing some of the other keywords change in volume too, so looks like a possible regular purge? Either way, what a load a crap keywords being included in there. Hope everyone's vetting the export data!

How on earth can an ahrefs keyword export have a volume, when loading that keyword directly shows it's not even in their DB... 350 volume for US market, on a keyword that is utter junk and AU related... Do I just assume it's all wrong and throw out all the data? I can't even replicate this export with the same seeds as yesterday. DID THIS KEYWORD MAGICALLY APPEAR AND DISAPPEAR.

Did @ahrefs remove the view where you could get a list of every broken link line by line in Site Auditor? Am I hallucinating? Please don't get rid of the most useful export for cleaning up broken links. Only having an option for multiple URLs in a single cell is not ideal.

@MariusBuilds AHREFs shows that I get 6x less traffic than what GA4 tells me. Really makes me question why I use it for other sites
