@restorebrit @PMDEOSDX @FindoutnowUK I'd rather things didn't get done if those things are removing human rights, that's kind of the idea.
Do they? Most countries have a form of PR.
English

@howgred @PMDEOSDX @FindoutnowUK And then nothing gets done because no party ever wins that.
People then get fed up of democracy and turn to autocrats.
I don’t think either of us want that
English

@restorebrit @PMDEOSDX @FindoutnowUK PR, so no one party ever gets a majority unless they get over 50% of the vote and then they can at least be stopped from putting through whatever they want.
English

@howgred @PMDEOSDX @FindoutnowUK Well what’s the alternative? Pure democracy like Swiss? I’d like that tbf
English

@restorebrit @PMDEOSDX @FindoutnowUK It's bad here but not as bad as him...yet. our democracy is a joke anyway, parties can get whopping majorities on a third of the vote or less. How is that fair that that one party then gets to hammer through all the legislation they want without the support of most people?
English

@howgred @PMDEOSDX @FindoutnowUK Democracy is democracy though? Surely if parliament is too stifled then we don’t live in a democracy, we live in an autocracy ruled by unaccountable, unelected officials.
This is worse than Bukele surely?
English

@restorebrit @PMDEOSDX @FindoutnowUK Depends what it is. I don't think parliament should be able to just vote away people's rights under the guise of democracy. We've seen that before
English

@howgred @PMDEOSDX @FindoutnowUK El Salvador is now one of the safest countries in the world. He has an 80% approval rating. Sounds good to me
English

@restorebrit @PMDEOSDX @FindoutnowUK All things get abused let's just tear all up all legislation then.
English

@restorebrit Oh I try all the time. Maybe I'll get lucky. Point is before brexshit it was a lot simpler. But you made life harder for British people
English

@howgred I’m sure if you really wanted to you could. I know people who have!
English

@restorebrit @PMDEOSDX @FindoutnowUK No they really do raise their prices because they can. It's not difficult to believe
English

@PMDEOSDX @howgred @FindoutnowUK I think that’s straying a little into conspiracy territory. At the end of the day billionaires create wealth, government do not. Governments are responsible for inflation first and foremost, shipping companies simply take advantage
English

@restorebrit @PMDEOSDX @FindoutnowUK Courts should be able to keep the government in check. It's actually very important
English

@PMDEOSDX @howgred @FindoutnowUK Totally different point IMO. We have the opposite problem now - courts rule parliament, rather than the other way round. There should be a happy medium
English

@restorebrit @PMDEOSDX @FindoutnowUK If restore gain power I'd actually quite like to be made stateless so I can seek asylum elsewhere.
English

@howgred @PMDEOSDX @FindoutnowUK Well no if they don’t have dual nationality we can’t can we. Where would they go? No one should be made stateless.
We can deport dual nationals because by definition they originate from another country.
English

@restorebrit @PMDEOSDX @FindoutnowUK Says everything about you that you support bukele. He even calls himself a dictator and is proud of it.
English

@PMDEOSDX @howgred @FindoutnowUK Labour just did this to a UK national
in Russia. The courts, if stripped of their Blairist quango powers, will fall in line.
Rule by judge is fundamentally anti-democratic when it denies the mandate of a democratically elected government. We will Bukele the corrupt judges.
English

@restorebrit @PMDEOSDX @FindoutnowUK Do I think we should tear up human rights legislation that benefits everyone because there are some bad people in the world? No.
English

@howgred @PMDEOSDX @FindoutnowUK It’s not a brag - just an opinion.
Up to 1 million British girls have been abused by foreign rapists, and not deported because of the human rights act and ECHR.
Do you agree that this is bad and we should change this law as such so we can?
English

@restorebrit @RestoreBritain_ No sorry love, because of your precious Brexit you need a visa, work and residence permit, which they don't just hand out to anyone. So if you are a working class person with a retail job it's impossible.
English

@howgred @RestoreBritain_ Why not? Of course you can!
English

@restorebrit @PMDEOSDX @FindoutnowUK So how would restores policies combat the richest avoiding tax? How much would they put tax up for billionaires?
English

@PMDEOSDX @howgred @FindoutnowUK Yes sir. It’s tough but we’re in this stage now due to a multitude of factors - the main one being the importation of low skilled workers who undercut British jobs.
And inflation, paying for things we can’t afford whilst enriching billionaires and the super rich.
English

@howgred @PMDEOSDX @FindoutnowUK If they fit the above criteria then absolutely, I’d support you doing so!
English

@howgred @PMDEOSDX @FindoutnowUK Some human rights laws need tearing up and replacing with a British Bill of rights
English

@restorebrit @PMDEOSDX @FindoutnowUK Really? According to the polls, and the latest election, and the local elections, it's far from a majority voting for restore and reform.
English

@PMDEOSDX @howgred @FindoutnowUK Well we’ll see. I think you’ll be shocked by how well Restore do in Makerfield. We will eventually usurp Reform.
These policies are agreed in some way shape or form by the majority of the electorate.
Plus where are those numbers from? They look dodgy AF
English

@restorebrit @RestoreBritain_ And go where? We can't just move to Europe anymore because of people like you.
English

@howgred @RestoreBritain_ Well sorry about that, you’ll have the freedom to leave if you want
English

@PMDEOSDX @restorebrit @FindoutnowUK Oh they'd happily tear up human rights laws. They brag about it.
English

@restorebrit @howgred @FindoutnowUK Ah okay so you mean foreign criminals and foreign benefit claimants, my question then is what is a foreign benefit claimant, to claim benefits you need to either be a citizen, have an ILR, or have been approved a legitimate refugee, you can’t legally deport them under UK law
