This is what killed my twin brother a few years ago. There's some background complexities I don't want to get into because it's complicated and sad, but ultimately doing this and only this gave him deep vein thrombosis, and he died. You need to move around more than this.

You ever sat back in your home and looked at all the stuff you have and just become generally aware that you’re an independent adult who pays bills and keeps yourself alive and decorated a home and it hits you you aren’t 16 anymore and you never will be again and this is your life and you’re living it and you made it

i hate how social media makes us forget that life has stages. it’s normal to be broke, to have broke friends or partners and yes it’s even normal to be unemployed at times. these are phases we all go through. some people are lucky enough to find good jobs at a young age and afford a certain lifestyle. others take longer and that’s perfectly okay. we need to stop comparing ourselves and start accepting our journey. i just want all of us to be at peace with where we are in life while still working and striving for better.

Time doesn’t exist. It’s a human construct we created to keep order and reduce chaos. There’s no such thing as a “new year” it’s just another rotation of day and night. The change you’re waiting for won’t come from a calendar.

If you go outside and talk to people who are not college educated or specifically well read, you might start to understand how intimately they are aware of the workings of the system that is crushing them. There is wisdom outside of institutions and that does not devalue the work of scholars, it facilitates it
