Nasdaq is up 900 since India's closing bell on Monday. The open tomorrow is going to be something to witness! I still have no carried positions in India. And I will keep it that way till the trends align themselves. May the odds be forever in your favor!

Just finished doing a weekend broad market weekly charts / indicies / currencies / commodities / countries / cryptos etc etc scan. A bird’s eye view if you must call it something. (Don’t get intimidated, it barely takes 10-15 mins 😅) As far as India is concerned literally every index is still under the 200. Although I’m seeing lots of experts coming out of the woodwork posting successful entries. And there’s nothing wrong with that apart from the few points below: 1. I’m calling them entries and not trades because a successful trade is when you come out with a decent profit. That is yet to be seen. 2. This is a crucial phase of the market where experts harm regular/beginner/part time traders without any ill intent. Why?? Because they aren’t experts and you might not be. Conventional wisdom like ‘index being under key MAs’ might seem outdated to them. But they have earned that attitude. You and I haven’t. Our job isn’t to copy or follow their moves. Our job is to understand how they got to this point. Today I will try emphasizing my point with some reality (historic charts) to showcase why people like Bill O Neil wrote a lot about broader market structure.

Setups are based on your view and your style of trading. So I can’t tell you what to do. I can tell you what I did. Tight pivot breakouts after a flag pullback is what I was buying. Eg: Sansera, Edelweiss, Tata Steel. See these charts. Their right side will look like photo copies.

3rd Feb: Low Level PD on trade deal news. This was something that one couldn’t capture, but it was a sign that we needed. A good news that even reflected in the market as good news. 9th Feb: Market follows through after a few days of pullback. Something that was actionable if you had your setups. See follow-through names like JK Tyre on 9th. Post that this was the first meaningful pullback we saw that kept the breadth above 50%. Note that this is very very crucial that the whole thing happens towards the side where majority of the market is above 20MA. Today was the first day 18th Feb, which was a follow through day post 17th Feb (Pullback low was 16th Feb), when the high of 4th Feb (59.4%) was taken out as breadth closed at 59.6%, making it a Pivotal Day for my system. See the index chart along with the breadth chart to make more sense of what I’m trying to say. (All action happening as index stays above all the key MAs)

@ActusDei Quick query - Contributions made to Tier 1 MSF Pension scheme is visible in Tier1-PF Scheme in transaction stmt. Transaction stmt shows 3 options - Tier1, Tier2 and Tier1-PF Scheme. AFAIK, Tier1-PF Scheme refers to Govt emp. Pls clarify in which category MSF contri be visible?

Select Tier 1. 3) Select Pension Schemes (MSF) 4) Pick your scheme. If you need help, see: shorturl.at/QsxI1 5) Make the payment - UPI/Netbanking/Creditcard Points to note: 1) MSF has a lock-in of 15 years or age 60, whichever is EARLIER. 2) You can choose a different fund manager from your existing NPS (common schemes)) 3) You can move back to NPS common schemes if you don't like your choice eventually 4) You cannot move existing NPS money to MSF, only fresh money
