I think I saw a bee today! Which is a bit early isn’t it? Although as my eyesight is appalling, it may have been some other flying creature entirely but still, it feels early.
Anyway bees are amazing, we know it now and we knew it then.

Today I've been reading of bees... Early Irish law devoted an entire tract to bees. Bechbretha (7th c.) sets out rules on hive ownership, swarm rights, & liability for stings — one of the earliest legal codes on beekeeping in Europe
