New in Claude Code: auto mode. Instead of approving every file write and bash command, or skipping permissions entirely, auto mode lets Claude make permission decisions on your behalf. Safeguards check each action before it runs.

I want to make /init more useful- what do you think it should do to help setup Claude Code in a repo?

Jensen Huang: a $500k engineer should be spending at least $250k on tokens. The number would've sounded insane not long ago but 3 months into 2026 and it sounds possibly even understated. Now let's do the math, AI in the hands of the right person is not 10x, but potentially 100x output. A 50% increase in spend with that kind of ROI? Not an expense, one of the best-returning investments in the history of corporate spending. So yeah... understated. I see this in myself... I spend serious money on Claude API and Claude Max, Perplexity, Gemini, GPT & Grok (couple of main ones, the rest on backup) and my output is incomparable to what it was a year ago or even 3 months ago. One person with the right agent stack works like a team. The thing a lot of people miss is that Jensen isn't just talking about money, he's talking about the approach: augmentation, not replacement. Not "AI instead of people," but "AI as a superpower for the right people." This creates a gap... not between companies that use AI and those that don't, but between people who've learned to work with AI as leverage and those who still ask it to "write me an email." This gap is growing every day.
