ie at the risk of stating obvious - why not package skills into prompts in mcp? imo @resource and @prompt are underrated params. people are just trading convenience of .md file in skills over a protocol built around auth and a high-accuracy rate of using tools. cli is absolutely need but for the agent to agent workflow, you need a protocol.

If just we had a standard way for integrating things between different products of the same company or even products across different companies.

anthropic should add a simple feature to sync skills between claude chat, claude cowork and claude code and between teams i see how much people are struggling with this

Why neutral governance? Look at MCP Apps. OpenAI & Anthropic collaborated on a shared standard, letting devs build UI experiences that work across ChatGPT, Claude, and VS Code. Learn more: bit.ly/3PKpwf5 #AAIF

Finally @googlechrome v146 is out with web MCP support. I can now have a @LangChain_JS Deep Agent constantly browse through my @X feed in the background and update a daily summary that I look at the end of the day instead of constantly scrolling through the app 🙌 Check out: github.com/christian-brom…

It took another two months but Chrome 146 is out since yesterday! And *that* means: with a single toggle, you can expose your current live browsing session via MCP and have your CLI agent do things in it. Aaand I have been waiting to deal with my LI connects until this moment.

100%. No company wants a bunch of unmonitored CLIs on users' machines without common logging and introspection. This is such a massive security risk with 1 developer, never mind N or N+500. If only something like MCP existed to solve this. Great read.

MCP all the way down

@bentossell I mean, it’s an MCP App. A bit of ingenuity and good engineering and you can build it yourself.

ok ive seen enough evidence to call it: dedicated agentic browsers were a mistake. you can do everything u need to do as a chrome extension. Claude Cowork et al have shown the way. excited for our @felixrieseberg pod to tell the full story of how @AnthropicAI won by just betting on where users are

MCPs are the opposite of dead. They are the life blood of how AI agents use services inside mid-sized and above companies. Case in point: Uber runs on MCPs internally, for good reason. Details: newsletter.pragmaticengineer.com/p/how-uber-use…

Thank god MCP is dead Just as useless of an idea as LLMs.txt was It's all dumb abstractions that AI doesn't need because AI's are as smart as humans so they can just use what was already there which is APIs

@Infoxicador Yes. That's why we built it as an MCP app. We already have the integration and want to re-use it and dogfood our own MCP clients.

@dsp_ Very interesting... Also if it is native to claude it could have been custom built? glad MCP Apps was chosen, it proves the architecture and features are solid even for 1st party ui
