Here is a tip on how to make $1,500 in the next 6 months. Step 1: Look on your whatsapp and reach out to 50 of your richest contacts and ask them when their birthday is Step 2: Buy presents worth N2k for each of them and be giving them on their birthday. Step 3: What can you do that can earn you N10k? Make a graphic and put it on your whatsapp status daily. Put examples. Step 4: Anyone who messages you about it, ask them to refer you. Step 5: Reach out to all past customers and tell them you are available for work. Repeat once a month Step 6: GIVE to GET. If you are unwilling to invest money in relationships, do not expect those relationships to give you money. You reap what you sow. Step 7: Look for something that can bring you more than 10k, that can double your fee. Learn that thing and repeat the above. Keep going upwards.

@Prestigious_Gt So much info I want to help you with regarding tithing but X message count for unverified is very limited. You give to God not to man, and why will a human like you think you should be concerned about how God chooses to spend his money through his priests?

When I was in Nigeria, I never missed my monthly tithe. When I got to the UK, I sent tithe to my home church about twice, then stopped. My mom called me about not sending tithe to the home church anymore. I told her we don’t pay tithe in the UK, and even offering isn’t compulsory. I also told her we eat every Sunday, and there’s a place you can pick up free food if you don’t have any at home. All the tithe we paid in church in Nigeria where did it go? There was never a time we had food for the poor or a room where food was kept. Isn’t that the essence of tithe? Her response was: “You are backsliding.” 😂
EKÙN II🐯🐅(Tiger de 2nd)@ekun_II

I have a question for you, what is your honest opinion about tithing ? Let’s have it!!

Imagine a situation where you want to pay your rent of 750k, but you only have 650k. Your friend offered to lend you 100k and you’ll pay back at month’s end. And your girlfriend offered to support you with the 100k without paying back. Which offer are you taking?

@graffiti006 @hackSultan Solution and tooling: 1. Frontend tools for posting content (react + quilljs) 2. Backend tool for validation and storage( nodejs | fastapi | .net etc) 3. Media storage for image or video file (cloudinary or any other platform)

When you say exactly like Instagram. You’re referring to : 1. Content posting and storage ( Tons of data space) 2. Content recommendation algorithms ( I believe this powers the Explore page) 3. DM ( text, audio + Video calls) 4. IG live ( real time video streaming and engagement tracking ) And so many more. Or just a platform where people can share media. The former will cost a $500k + Team + Tons of Licenses to build. The later can cost you just $5k or so.
S.A.A@graffiti006

Do we have Nigerians who can build apps that looks exactly like Instagram and how much does it cost to build something of such? Kindly tag any app developer you know on this platform. Cc @hackSultan

I still don’t understand something. Why are PhD students in Nigeria paying school fees? PhD is not school in the normal sense. It’s research work. You’re producing knowledge. You’re teaching undergrads. You’re publishing papers. You’re raising the university’s ranking. In every sane system: – PhD students are funded – Their tuition is covered – They are paid stipends for research and teaching In Nigeria? We treat the highest level of knowledge production like a burden instead of an investment. You can’t starve research and expect innovation. Education in Nigeria is just upside down.

This guy earns N180,000 monthly. Before anything else, he plans his money. Monthly breakdown: -Tax & deductions: N15,000 -Family support & responsibility: N15,000 -Savings: N30,000 -Investments: N20,000 -Emergency buffer: N30,000 -Personal living expenses (rent, food, transport, data): N60,000 -Girlfriend & social life: N10,000 He does not borrow to impress. He does not lend money he can’t afford to lose. He says no when necessary. He budgets for love, not pressure. That’s N80,000 saved and invested monthly. Over 24 months (2 years): Savings: N30,000 × 24 = N720,000 Investments: N20,000 × 24 = N480,000 At 12% yearly ≈ N602,000 Emergency buffer: N30,000 × 24 = N720,000 Total financial base after 2 years ≈ N2,042,000 While still supporting family. Paying tax. Maintaining a relationship. Living responsibly. That is financial discipline in the real world. No shortcuts or pressure lifestyle. Just consistency and control. This is What Financial Discipline Really Looks Like

2025 wrapped: - Worst year of my life - Lost my greatest mentor, my dad - Lost my loving grandmother - Got a job offer in Canada. Applied for visa. Rejected. Lost the job. - Lost my 2 cars: GLE 43 & C300 - Got laid off for the first time in ~6 years - 2x rejected for the global talent visa - Made the worst financial decisions in my adult life - Got into the worst shape of my adult life - Needed surgery. Did surgery. Surgery failed. - Lost my 4 year relationship, became an emotional wreck - And all of these are just the ones I am comfortable sharing publicly. In 2026 we go again: revenge. It’s not always roses and success stories. But we become strong by rising again, no matter how many times we crash.
