It mounts your current working directory into the VM and handles tunneling MCP calls out to your Mac so that things like IDE integration or other tools *just work* (for the most part). It's not 100% secure, but it provides a layer of protection that is enough for me right now.

I have a good friend who’s been a residential home inspector for 15+ years. Apparently, this industry’s biggest technological breakthrough is Google Docs 🤯 There are sooo many industries just begging for someone to infuse AI into them

@jkudish @jonny_raney @internachi There are certainly many bespoke home inspection apps, from report writing to backend management, out there. Plenty have already integrated AI. If your friend is still using a word processor, they should take some time to explore what’s out there!

@jonny_raney @internachi Admittedly not my domain of expertise, but I believe they have software as well. Their ceo @inxilpro is super technical and well known in the Laravel community so when you mentioned home inspections, it came to mind.

I don't need to do this often, but when I do it's annoying to get the sequential tailwind classes right, so I put together a little "responsive text" blade component. It's pretty neat!

TIL about `array_column` in PHP 🤩 And it can work on objects, too, so here's simple way to get all the values from a backed enum… (It's also about 2x faster than `array_map` in my testing.)
