@iochanjo @MartinnaMaree Actually its not a regulations issue its enforcement of laws. Once design is over client doesnt retain for Supervisions. Thats a fee down together with jobs. Theyll say MEP are not needed but the kind of work being done by contractors is very wanting.

Where I work, we are moving away from consultants and will only be engaging them in very complex projects. Most of the things are done in-house

@Vickk254 @MartinnaMaree Running a firm has lots of downside. You've to pay your engineers every month even when you have not been paid. Talk with them. My last boss in private, was with him for 7yrs, used to see fee notes. Was better off being employed than owning that firm despite the millions there.

If you got electric connection through last mile, Kenya Power is informing you that that was a loan and it's being repaid through 50% deductions on every token purchase.
