"Shameful." In an extraordinary interview, Pentagon whistleblower @WesJBryant sounds the alarm about what he calls a lack of concern for civilian casualties by the US in Iran. He was part of a Pentagon unit tasked with mitigating civilian harm, but it was gutted last year in government cuts. Worth watching in full.

@MuellerSheWrote So apparently a female security officer at the hospital reported the woman to law enforcement after she ended up in the ER. I guess she felt as a law enforcement officer she had a duty to report the woman, but this just seems so cruel

Three years ago, I helped write a law that created a Civilian Protection Center at the Pentagon. Last year, Hegseth gutted it.
A military investigation found that the U.S. committed one of the worst civilian casualty strikes in decades. Hegseth must answer for this before Congress and tell us why they've gutted this critical tool for protecting innocent lives.

So it now appears based on many media reports that we bombed a girls elementary school and killed 175 people, and right after that Hegseth was beating his chest in a press conference saying we weren’t going to worry about “stupid rules of engagement” anymore.
