Because it is not a Holocaust, it is not a separate people and it is not a separate state. Somalis from the north suffered under Siad Barre just like Somalis from the south, the east and everywhere else. Suffering does not create a country. If it did, every region in Somalia would have declared independence by now. The reason Hollywood has not made this movie is the same reason no country has recognized Somaliland.
