🚨 SCAM ALERT 🚨 I received a dm from @thedavidlevine last night asking me to vote for him in a podcast host competition. It’s very unlike David to ask for votes, but I thought if anyone deserves it, it’s him. So I clicked on the link - which I usually never do - but there was no actual voting link. The message came through X, and something immediately felt off. I wrote back to him and “he” said I probably used the wrong password. That didn’t make sense because I was already logged into X, so why would I need to enter my password again? Then the person said it wasn’t working because my two-factor authentication was enabled, and suggested I temporarily turn it off so I could vote and turn it back on afterward. I love David, but not enough to disable two-factor authentication. That instinct probably saved my a$$ today. Later I heard from a few friends who received the exact same DM from him. Please be careful, people. If something feels even slightly off, trust that instinct.

So many people here say the support art and artists. 90% of them are full of shit, engagement farmers. Real collectors don’t make you beg in posts. They show up in the shadows and buy in silence. Pay attention to the innovators.
