Last night closed a chapter for both Saint Mary's and Gonzaga programs. Zags' record against the Gaels in March: Last 5 years: 4-1 Last 10 years: 9-2 Gonzaga has now gone to 29 straight WCC championships. Last night's loss ended Saint Mary's streak of 4 straight appearances.

The Best Student Sections from this Week of College Basketball. The Kennel was INCREDIBLE for the last ever conference meeting in Spokane against St. Mary's. Loud on every play, and always jumping. Utah State's atmosphere on TV doesn't even do it justice, that place was ROCKING on Saturday. Cannot wait to be back in the Spectrum soon. Allen Fieldhouse is always an elite atmosphere, but that was on a whole different level yesterday. GCU has a really solid atmosphere aswell, but it's more performative than intimidating. Student Section was pretty quiet whenever Boise had the ball, but was ELECTRIC during exciting plays. INSANE week of Student Sections. This sport has never been better! So many good teams, so much talent, and the fans are showing out better than I have ever seen. There were many schools that could've easily been on here if this was a normal week. Honorable Mentions Rutgers vs Michigan State 8.2 Auburn vs Texas 8.2 Michigan vs Nebraska 8.1 * Don't worry Husker fans, I will be watching the Illinois game today very closely, and if the atmosphere is what I am expecting, you will very likely be in next week's post.
