Around big events like Mahakumbh, its always interesting to see how Capital markets respond . The government spend in 2025 for Purna Maha Kumbh which happens once in 144 years is around Rs 7500 crores for preparation and construction of Kumbh City and the total collection is around Rs 3 lakhs crores in 45 days which is a staggering number. . This same number was around 1300 crores in 2013 Mahakumbh when it comes to expenditure by Government whereas the total collection was around Rs 12000 crores. . Though there is no consistent co-integration between big events like Kumbh and Capital markets, its intriguing to see how inflationary impact remains in short term due to sudden surge in food prices as it constitutes 1/2 of total CPI (though nationally cannot impact) . So i decided to put the co-relation impact with 200 SMA to understand how short term the market impacts from end of Kumbh and what is the medium term impact since financially one cannot reach any conclusion. This analysis resulted in interesting data point as follows. #Markets #kumbh

Malta is not allowed to run a citizenship by investment program because Eurocrats in Brussels think it’s a “security risk.” But they’re okay with Spain giving away hundreds of thousands of passports to illegal immigrants. The entire EU project doesn’t make any sense. I predict freedom of mobility within member states will end soon.

When he made fun of CA's in general on shark tank it was quite clear how he sees all other people @peyushbansal The entire community of CA made him apologize or else he would have got away with it Similar story is unfolding here + its a company where Tata has invested. I think things have started unfolding suddenly across TCS, TISS, Tata investments, Tata Jewellery Ad

So I confirmed, this is genuine. This is what @peyushbansal tells his employees, hijab is okay, but bindi/tilak/Kalawa is not, for @Lenskart_com, a company that exists in Hindu majority Bharat, where most of the employees and consumers are Hindu! What do you say to this? This is page 11 of the Lenskart style guide for employees. You can find the link here. scribd.com/document/90118…

@vinit1803 @ShivAroor @sujata_dwivedi Unlikely to happen but remember when a community spends entire life defending the wrongdoing or just passing a comment that few people dont belong to their community instead of taking corrective actions, such situation coming up in future is quite possible

@ShivAroor @sujata_dwivedi The fallout will be that many large corporates will hesitate to hire youngsters from a particular company , and in the process deserving & hard working candidates may lose out for no fault of theirs. Like they say 1 bad apple spoils the entire basket. Sad but true

This is expected shift by analyst estimate. Could it be far more than this is my question? The land physical crude cost for most countries is far far more than traded crude and has been over 100 usd for more than a month or so. Even futures till may end is getting traded at 100usd plus . Landing cost of diesel and Gasoline for Brazil is pretty high. The suger cane season has started, lets see by april end some policy data should come out

Just quick thoughts... Every time I post, ppl seem to treat me like some permabear who's rooting for the end of the world. But in reality, I run a pod with a very high risk appetite. One part of my job is directional derivatives trading, but the other involves long-term core long equity investments. It’s a two-track approach. As my followers know, I’m structurally very bullish on copper, uranium, and Brazil. These are classic high-beta assets. No sane person in the world would be happy to see their core longs getting caught in crossfire during high-vol environments. I’m simply trading based on the direction I believe in. My point is: do your own research, pick a direction, and once you execute that trade, you should stick to your guns until the underlying facts actually change. We can’t control volatility. I have an upward bias here, which is the result of my own research. If you want to do yours, I recommend HFIR and Rory for S/D, and Ilia’s posts for technicals. Anyway this is how I see things. If you can’t control the vol in the process, you let the outcome validate your thesis. I’ve been right so far, but of course, I could be wrong in the future. However i accept that as well. If you want high returns, you have to stomach high risks. I don't really get it—there were quite a few ppl who were as aggressively long as I was back in February and March. What was their rationale then? For most, fundamentals like flows and inventories were their edge. But now they panic just bc prices have been suppressed for a few days—even though they know the process is out of their control. I believe it’s right to stay focused on the original thesis. Prices are much higher now than they were in the $60s back in February, or when they dipped into the $70s after the war broke out in March. Everything happens for a reason. I don’t know why everyone is losing confidence so easily. To me production shut-ins and inventory draws are all that matter. Wasn't that the case for you too? If you execute a directional trade based on fundamentals but act like a day trader, you are guaranteed to lose.

Seems the US blockade is rattling China. And many GLISCO agents are coming out in the open even threatening war. Now India needs to be very careful. When China is economically affected by Trump's action, China will create a conflict with India as a distraction.

Everyone in China is on EV & solar is a myth. A prolonged energy and shipping crunch given to China by Trump either by prolonging this war or taking control of all shipping and oil will cause trouble. That's why I said, China will be at India's border once trouble hits home.

It’s confirmed now. Accor Signature Absolute has been revalued and comes with 30 nights. 5 nights credited every month for first 6 months. It would be interesting to see how this stacks with other subscription like Explorer and China. So let’s wait for some more clarity. You are an idiot. The plant at jamnagar was set up by US based consultancy firm who setup a plant which can process any type of crude. The upfront expenses is huge in such case. It has NCI of 21.1 which is largest in the world for any refinery including middle east. It can process over 200 types of crude Our PSU hasnt spent so much so they are restricted at the type of crude it can process.
