Wrong. The $UBER bull argument is that as many auto manufacturers are approved for unsupervised autonomy, and offer driverless capabilities on UBER’s ride sharing platform, $UBER is best positioned to expand its TAM by offering a much lower priced driverless option. Not over the next month, but over the next 3-5 years.

Arguing that Uber will win autonomy is like arguing ten years ago that your local yellow cab company is going to make a better app than Uber

@wholemars Agreed on everything else. Too early on the economics Omar. There are other things at play. Wear and tear, local, state, federal taxes and insurance that comes into play. Not to mention cleaning fees, etc. all of it has to be factored in to better understand the economics.

Why will Tesla be able to offer autonomous rides cheaper than Uber? Because a self-driving Tesla costs $30,000 to make and a Waymo costs several times that to make Because Teslas are being produced in much higher volume It will be the first ever pure vision driverless car

I was a Democrat from the time I turned 18. But when they said that only union made EVs should receive the EV tax credit, and that Tesla should be confiscated from Elon Musk via a “wealth tax”… I started raising my eyebrows. Today this has evolved into outright hate, vandalism, and even death threats. I haven’t heard one democratic leader or influencer stand up for sanity, for the american worker or american manufacturing. It’s going to be hard to vote for the democrats again for me. I don’t love all of Trump’s policies like tariffs etc but the democrats have turned me off completely. anyone else like me out there?

@wholemars Have to disagree with you here, Omar. Everytime I have to use my iPhone it's a nightmare. The only thing I'll say is apps are better optimized. That's it. Samsung's OneUI, especially 7, surpasses iOS in every other way.
