Have to say I'm very concerned by how badly we are performing on a consistent basis right now, even on a weeks rest. We look knackered, or choosing to play at a pedestrian pace (more concerning) - seem to be playing with a fear of central progression (scared to lose the ball?). Gyokeres nearly got Andrich sent off (he should've been) in 4 mins and then we've just not created anything. Eze seems more concerned about high pass completion than exploiting the massive gaps in the middle.

City were 2 points behind Arsenal 2 months ago.

We were winning games convincingly till Gabriel Jesus came back from injury. We’ve won nothing with this player. I don’t understand why he must play every game. The moment he comes on we start to get pressured all because he can’t press, can’t stay upfront to occupy the Centre backs . It has happened time and time again. He offers zero threat.

A win today would’ve been paper over cracks. Today and vs. Brentford we lost far too many duels and lacked any sort of passing rhythm. Pass backwards or boot it long. We won’t win many of our remaining away PL games unless that level improves, let alone be near the title.

On 13th September Jamie Redknapp stated on Sky Sports that I left Tottenham ‘in a mess’ when I sold the club to Daniel Levy. Tonight, during Sky’s Bournemouth v Fulham coverage, Redknapp has made a full apology and has retracted this false allegation. Also, by way of a further apology, a donation of £10,000 has been made to Great Ormond Street Hospital @GOSHCharity Redknapp said: “I mentioned that Lord Sugar had left the club ‘in a mess’. I just want to make clear that he stabilised the club and invested heavily during his time as chairman. When he took over in 1991 Spurs were close to bankruptcy, and by the time he stepped away the financial position had been turned around. He also put significant money into the team and facilities.
