📣 Today, we're taking a step to modernize how we enforce our rules. Up until now, if you broke a lower severity policy, you lost access to all of Twitch. One size fits all enforcement doesn't really work, so we are making changes. Starting today, Twitch users who break lower severity rules will lose access to the specific feature they used to violate our policies — like streaming or chat — rather than losing access to Twitch entirely. Choo Choo - Keep an eye out for the new rare Community Trains experiment 🚂 At level 5, Hype Train emotes are given to random community members even if they haven't contributed 💜 Higher levels give out emotes to more of chat!

🔬 New ad-format experiment: Pause-screen ads As a part of our ongoing work to make ads less intrusive while offering creators additional revenue sources, these ads will appear when a viewer pauses a stream. The skippable ads experiment is still ongoing at the same time 💜
