@CanadianPolling It’s a problem amongst members. Many aren’t just anti-Zionist but anti-Semites as well. Remember: not everyone voted for a jewish candidate, and not everyone knew Lewis was jewish. Sadly, I’ve seen this dynamic up close for more than 20 years.

Avi Lewis is not Stephen Lewis. K? You can like one and not the other. And it’s amazing that Mulcair has waited so long to fire back at Lewis for his 2015 ego driven LEAP debacle that cost the NDP seats across the country in the most consequential election in party history.

Tom Mulcair has done nothing but try and smear Avi Lewis for the last 6 months. So it was pretty wild to see him participate in several standing ovations in 2016 for the late Stephen Lewis - who was echoing the same democratic socialist perspective that his son Avi does.

Why is Ford so OBSESSED with Toronto’s waterfront? From the Billy Bishop airport, Ontario Place, his island and a convention centre-spa duo, the list goes ON.
We do NOT need a premier who’s trying to cosplay the city mayor, nor spend billions of taxpayers' dollars in investment projects to line his corporate buddies' pockets. We need a leader who’s focused on the needs of Ontarians and building a province that’s liveable for ALL.

I was as critical of the @NDP as any when I worked in the Harper Government, but @ThomasMulcair was so clearly ahead of his time. A New Democrat like he or Jack Layton could form Government today. The fringe has deeply co-opted the NDP away from everyday working Canadians, a cohort that the NDP once built their foundation on. Sad to see.
