Just to confirm I am understanding things here…Saint John’s was ranked #13 in the country, then ran through the entire Big East Tournament dominating everyone along the way, including a beatdown of #6 UCONN, and they are now seeded as a team that is somewhere between 17-20???

When SJ is competitive, it's a 65 - 35 split. End of day, UConns NET ranking can't be ignored. Go out and beat Duke🤷‍♂️

@FeelLikePinnock @Kc9703 @Thibadome Conference tourneys are useless in ways, but mainly for money and for auto-bid upsets knocking better teams out. There's always complaints with these draws. Maybe St. John's deserved a 4 or 3. UConn lost out on the 1 line. I wish they were in separate regions.

Yesterday was about as low of a moment this program has had in a lot of years. Just the total domination and takeover of the BE by Slick Rick Pitino and his billionaire backer. Almost like the stars aligned for them. UConn has to build the team differently next year.

@husky_fever No they don't, SJU doesn't build it's roster to win a Natty; we do sometimes it doesn't work but we go for it and that's whats important. We're not going to sell out to play by BE style rules that wants to enforce a style of ball that is incompatible with winning a Natty.

UConn earned their seeding for big wins, including over SJ and 2nd place in conf. Good for you if SJ is rolling now. Prove it with a title.
