@joyncassie @drodvik52 @FrankLuntz I do agree incumbents being in anyway associated with the process muddies the waters. Unfortunately I think most people see it as us vs them and aren’t capable of short term detriment in their own party for the benefit of the country. Both on policy and processes

@FrankLuntz This is true and not inconsistent with his stance on Virginia. 1- Ban gerrymandering nationally. 2- until 1 happens, don’t unilaterally disarm. Dems are proposing one. Republicans refuse to cooperate, therefore, Dems (and Obama) proceed with two.
