Not sure what the future holds, but it's been a privilege to cover Snohomish County for as long as I have. @snocaleb and @ihenpecked changed my life when they hired me. If anyone has any leads on journalism openings, I'm in the market.

Anybody who knows me knows how much I love my job. Getting caught in a wave of layoffs feels like a journalism rite of passage, but that doesn't make it any easier. At least I'm in good company. So many brilliant journalists lost their jobs at the @EverettHerald today.
