I’m amused when I see a book marketed as being similar to Snow Crash, because I ha-a-ated Snow Crash. I know I’m in the minority (few SF novels pub’d in my lifetime have been more influential), but it’s like having a big sign saying “Do not buy this book!” aimed directly at me.

I was laid off from Twitter this afternoon. I was in charge of managing badge access to Twitter offices. Elon just called me and asked if I could come back to help them regain access to HQ as they shut off all badges and accidentally locked themselves out.
