Golf is intoxicating. People are crazy. God is good. Genesis 9:13

@OriginalClady Jackie day is baseball. Faith night, yes. Don’t need it at the yard.

@OriginalClady I’m opposed to every theme night. Just baseball for me.

Nobody is saying LGBTQ people don’t belong at a baseball game. They do, just like everyone else. The disagreement is over whether organizations should actively promote certain social causes while acting uncomfortable when players express religious beliefs that don’t perfectly align with those causes. You keep framing disagreement as an attack. It’s possible to believe everyone deserves respect while also believing faith has a place in public life.

Just, wow: "SFGATE reached out to the Giants, asking for an interview from an organization representative about the fallout from the Pride Night events. The team said, 'No one is available at this time.'" sfgate.com/giants/article…

@OriginalClady Disagree. Gay people are welcome to go to a sporting event pretty much anywhere and no one cares. But when I take my 8 year old to a game and have to explain what “Pride night” is about, I’m not cool with it. Sexuality can and should be private in my opinion

Several Giants players wrote Bible verses on their caps to respond to Pride Night. The gesture echoed a familiar pattern: making a night meant for inclusion about something else entirely. Read more for free, from @GrantBrisbee: nyti.ms/3Q23q8J

My story on Giants Pride Night and the four pitchers who didn't support it. Spoke w/Logan Webb on his views, long-time Giants fan who protested to team, and author of recent book "The God Squad" -- also here's the Giants' team statement: sfstandard.com/2026/06/14/sf-… via @sfstandard

@OriginalClady Yes it does. There’s no need for a night to feature your sexual orientation. Just be yourself, by yourself.
