The way I look at @j_fishback running for Governor:
it’s like going to an Italian restaurant, seeing tacos on the menu, paying for a taco, and ordering a taco. Then, when everyone gets their food, they hand you a lasagna and say, “Sorry, we’re an Italian restaurant. You can’t order tacos here.”
At that point you’re left wondering, “Then why was it on the menu in the first place?”
This isn’t really about whether someone likes Fishback or dislikes Fishback. The issue is whether candidates who do not meet the constitutional requirements should be presented as options to voters in the first place. The Florida Constitution is what it is, and voters deserve clarity before they cast their ballots—not after.

This is a great example of the entire 2nd Trump administration. There were great promises, the cost was much more than expected, and we ended up in a much worse position. This happened to the economy, Iran, and even this pool.

Even US president then Ronald Reagan, who armed Israel, called Begin furious after seeing a photo of a 7-month-old baby with its arms blown off and said “It is a holocaust”.
They killed so many innocent people that the survivors had no choice but to pick up weapons.
Then Israel had the audacity to keep using “Self-Defense” excuse every decade.
Israel didn’t stumble into endless war. Israel built it. Brick by brick.

The chairman of the party should not be insulting the intelligence of Republican voters. A debate was promised and these ridiculous criteria are being used to renege on that promise and to engineer a preferred outcome. Why not just take 90 minutes, find a tv partner, and let the candidates mix it up? The only reason why you wouldn’t is if the party hierarchy is serving outside interests instead of the best interests of the voters.
